	I think the contests will come back when people start showing an interest in them. The last few have failed miserably, and really aren't worth the work that goes into putting them together. (Reply to this) (Thread)

There's more to it than that honestly, but I digress.

The hardest part is getting people to participate. We have never had more than 5 entries, when we have a community of over 450, and I can honestly say that not even a 10th of that actually votes.

I'd love to bring the contests back, but people have to want to do them. I've tried opening it up so that it's more interactive (IE: the winner choosing the next contests theme) and I've asked for suggestions to make it something people enjoy.

I just don't know what else to do, really. I can't afford to offer gifts/prizes, and other than a banner, there's nothing else really to make anyone want to participate.

Any suggestions are very welcome.

	I'd participate! I'm not that good but I'll try. Plus if we become sister sites, maybe more new people would join and participate in the community. I co-mod this community called xxkissxx. Check it out. (Reply to this)
